US Foreign Minister Hillary Clinton has contacted President Asif Ali Zardari in Dubai hospital and talked to him. She prayed for his recovery from illness soon. The hospital doctors told her that President Asif Ali Zardari will travel to Pakistan on next Thursday. He will be discharged from hospital within two or three days.

Constitutional Change may occur in Pakistan’s parliament : Dr Fehmida Mirza Speaker National Assembly Islamabad says.

Nowadays in Pakistan, the United States media propaganda and stretegic political campaign against Pakistani parliament is being observed to destabilize the political and constitutional elected government after Memogate Scandal, Mehmand Agency’s attack on Pakistani military officials and now after the illness of President Asif Ali Zardari who is under medical check up in Dubai Hospital. US newspapers “Financial Times” and a magazine “Foreign Policy Magazine” are responsible for creating such unavoidable and un-necessary situation. US actually wants to impose pressure on Pakistani Army Chief and other Generals working in Pakistan Army that they should take over the control totally on Islamabad government but most of the Pak Army Generals specially the Army Chief General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani are not agreed to intefere in political matters. Memogate scandal was also created by the American media to publsh the so-called false column and letter of Mansoor Ijaz. American government is using Mansoor Ijaz against Pakistan. American policy makers specially the Foreign Minister Hillary Clinton are nowadays asking andconsulting some Pakistani media and military persons that what next step would be taken ifmilitary will not take over the government in Pakistan.

Speaker National Assembly Pakistan Dr Fehmida Mirza has given the statement today in newspapers from London, “Parliamentary change in Pakistan wouldonly be brought according to the constituion. No unconstituional method or way would be adopted for change of parliamentary set-up in Pakistan.”

PAK-US RLATIONS UNDER REFORMS

PAK-US RELATIONS REFORM

In today’s geo news program Capital Talk, the anchor Hamid Mir and defence analyst Talat Masood emphasized that Pak-US strategic relations should be reviewed and foreign policy of Pakistan should be re-framed which would likely be based according to the wishes and desires of the common people of Pakistani including most of the famous religious and political groups and parties working here for the progress of democracy in the country. Parliament’s defence committee of Pakistan is nowadays working on forming new defence policy with United States. Shamsi Airbase is being vacated. Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar in this TV program has denied that the other airbases working under the US army including Pasni airbase and Jacobabad airbase are being used in the war against terrorism while the other participants Hamid Nawaz and Tariq Fatmi had told the people in the live program that these all the three airbases were handed over to the US authorities in the period of former President Pervez Musharraf without the will of the other defence and foreign officials and ministers even for the purpose of using these bases in the so-called war against terrorism in Afghanistan. President Pervez Musharraf’s policies were continued after winning the elections in 2008 and the present government had not changed its policy to let the US forces out from these all the three airbases. Nowadays this matter is under consideration that the airbases other than Shamsi airbase would also be got vacated from US military forces or not. But they supported this idea that all the airbases in use of US military in Pakistan should be vacated.
